UAE, Lebanon issue joint statement on visit of President of Lebanon – World

The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Lebanon have issued a joint statement that marked the official visit of Joseph Aoun, president of the Republic of Lebanon, to the VAE. The statement reads as follows:

“To strengthen the close ties and firm Fraternal Relations Between the United Arab Emirates and the Sisterly Republic of Lebanon, and to Bilateral Relations Consolidate, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan RECIVEIVE PRESIDENT JEBASPEPIC Shati in Abu Dhabi.

President his Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed the Lebanese president and expressed his hope that the visit would deepen the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and promote their shared interests and ambitions for progress and prosperity.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed expresses his sharpness from seed to work with Lebanon to promote the development, prosperity, safety and regional stability, and underlined the support of the safety, stability and sovereignty of Lebanon.

Presidents express seed his thanks and appreciation to President Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for his friendly sentiment towards Lebanon and his people, finished his sharpness to continue to park bilateral relations on all levels.

The two parties discussed ways to promote in different areas, and to develop economic and investment sectors, through joint opportunities, knowledge exchange and government development. The Government Experience Exchange Office of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs will visit Beirut to share best practices in the performance of the government and institutional excellence for the public and private sectors of the countries.

The two parties also agree to allow travel for citizens by carrying out necessary procedures and mechanisms to alleviate the movement between the two countries.

Both parties have expressed their aim of increasing and agreing the level of mutual diplomatic representation, settled on the joint of the business Council. The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development will send a delegion to Lebanon to explore and assess available joint collaboration projects.

The two parties have also described the latest regional developments and ES impact on Arabic Arab Relations and Regional Safety and Stability.

President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed was informed by President Aoun about the latest developments in Lebanon and regional and international affairs. Sheikh Mohamed confirmed the strategic importance of Lebanon in the Arab world and confirmed that Lebanon is an important pillar of joint Arabic action. “
