The Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced the integration of Artificial Interligence (AI) as an official topic in the public school curriculum for child yarn to degree 12, from the academic year 2025-2026.
The move will rest with the essential knowledge and skills needed to understand AI concepts and to apply in daily life, as part of the Focus of the VAE to enable young people to adapt to Evolver Global Trends and Innovation. It also states the VAE among the first countries to introduce a school curricula.
This important national initiative supports the VAE drive to become a world leader in AI and Digital Transformion. In collaboration with Presight A G42 company, AI71, Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and Emirates College for Advanced Education to speed up technical adoption in education to support the vision of the country to invest in people and create a future judge A that drives sustainable national development.

The AI curriculum of the VAE includes seven important areas: fundamental concepts, data and algorithms, use software, ethical consciousness, real-world applications, innovation and project design, and polishing and community involvement. It postpones students with the knowledge and skills that are linked to every academic level, all graduates from the public school are well tested in AI-funments and haveable to apply them in daily life.
The curriculum offers tailor -made units for every age group, starting with the kindergarten, where children undergo visual and interactive activities to discover AI and other digital technologies through stories and play.
In cycle 1, students compare machines with people, develop digital thinking skills and explore AI applications. In cycle 2, students of AI systems, they learn about bias and algorithms and they concentrate on ethical ai use.
Cycle 3 Preparation students for higher education and careers by teaching education command engineering and simulating real-world scenarios.
The new AI curriculum will be seamlessly integrated into existing school schedules without requiring extra educational guides. It will be taught by designated teachers as part of the subject of computing, creative design and innovation.
