Sagar Gupta’s journey is a powerful example of patience, resilience, and long-term self-belief. Born and raised in India in a modest household with limited resources, his early life offered few signs of the global professional path he would eventually build. An average student throughout school and college, Sagar never scored above 60 percent academically and struggled with confidence, communication, and social interaction during his formative years.

Extremely quiet and introverted as a child, Sagar often stayed on the sidelines—both socially and academically. A major turning point came during his childhood when his elder brother introduced him to cricket while he was studying in the 3rd standard. What began as a simple activity soon grew into a deep passion that would shape his character and future.

In the 7th standard, Sagar joined a cricket academy for a summer camp. Although he had to discontinue formal training due to circumstances beyond his control, cricket remained deeply rooted in his mindset. After completing his 10th standard in 2014, he made a decisive move by rejoining a cricket academy at Nehru Stadium, marking the first major transformation in his life.

At the academy, Sagar met his first life coach, Shoaib Sayyed, who played a pivotal role not only in developing his cricketing abilities but also in transforming his personality. His coach focused on confidence building, communication skills, discipline, and overall personal development—lessons that extended far beyond sports.

This phase was marked by extreme financial hardship. Sagar was unable to afford academy fees, travel, food, or match expenses. During this difficult period, his coach supported him financially and emotionally, covering essential costs so that Sagar could focus entirely on growth rather than survival.

He spent five formative years at the academy, committing himself fully to cricket without financial security. Alongside training, he worked as a cricket coach, managing morning and evening batches, training 50–60 students during summer camps, and coaching under-17 teams. These responsibilities taught him leadership, accountability, discipline, and responsibility at a young age.

During this time, Sagar also explored entrepreneurship by joining an MLM company, eBiz, investing approximately ₹32,000. Although he earned no income over 1.5 years, the experience strengthened his professional communication, presentation skills, and confidence through mentorship.

Academically, Sagar followed an unconventional path. He skipped a year of college to focus on cricket coaching, completed his 11th and 12th standards from SM Joshi College, later joined Appasaheb Jedhe College after a gap year, and eventually completed his MBA from Subharati Swami Vivekananda University while working.

His major professional breakthrough came in 2019 when he joined Pride. For the first time, he received structured training in English communication, client handling, business etiquette, and workplace professionalism. After nearly six years of effort without financial returns, this marked the beginning of stability and independence.

Over time, Sagar achieved financial freedom and international exposure, traveling to seven countries including Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Oman. He also experienced a four-day international cruise and attended global events such as GITEX and the One Million Summit.

Today, Sagar Gupta works internationally from Dubai—one of his proudest achievements. Reflecting on his journey from a quiet, underconfident child to a global professional, he believes every struggle was preparation. Guided by integrity, perseverance, and faith, his story proves that growth often arrives slowly—but lasts forever.
