The Legrand® Malaysia School Challenge 2025, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, begins its fourth edition with a mission to unlock the boundless creativity of students in the region.

Since its foundation in 2022, the challenge for regional phenomenon has become. After record -breaking participation in 2024 this year promises an even more exciting experience, full of new functions and prices that cause the imagination and a passion for learning to ignite.
New theme, new sensation: “Build your dream destination”
Now open for three age categories (7–9, 10-12 and 13-17), the 2025 edition challenges students to design the ideal travel destination using Lego bricks. Whether it is a futuristic underwater world, an island of imagination or a dream country among the stars, participants appear to combine creativity, telling stories and technical pulse sponge to bring magical destination to life.
What’s new in 2025?
Two major updates do not make this year’s challenge not abuse:
- Big prizes are going worldwide: Winners from the primary and secondary categories will experience a journey to Le Le Le Le le Leinoa, while Junior Category Champions will enjoy an outing in Lefoland Malaysia.
- Speed Building Showdown: For the first time, the final will have a high energy construction. The top 5 finalist teams in each category will live live for an assessment panel and public live, racing against the clock to create an original LEGO -Buildd in just 45 minutes.
Each finalist team will also enjoy the 3D2N stay in the Legraland Hotel, exclusive LEGO trophies, exciting LEGO sets and annual passes to Legraland Malaysia Resort.
Inspiration Young Innovators: A Story of Growth
One of the most inspiring alumni in the Challenge is Nathanael Yap, triple great prize winner. During the launch event I share:
“To be honest, it was one of the best parts of my school life to be part of the Letholand School Challenge for three years in a row.
Although I graduated and can no longer participate, the experience has stayed with me. While I look ahead to the university and more seriously think of my future, I realize how much the challenge has formed my interests – especially in areas such as design, engineering and creative thinking. I am excited to see what the participants of this year will build, and I hope they have the chance to push themselves and discover what they are capable of. ”

Register for the Letholand School Challenge 2025
The competition is open to students with 7 to 17 in three separate categories:
- Junior: age from 7 to 9 years
- Primary: Age 10 to 12
- Secondary: 13 to 17 years old
