Dubai, UAE – October 2025: GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology and innovation event, is extending its global footprint once again — this time to Latin America. The new event, GITEX LATAM, will make its debut in São Paulo, Brazil, on March 16–17, 2027, marking a major step in the show’s mission to shape the future of technology worldwide.

The announcement was made during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, where Brazil serves as the official Country Partner this year. The expansion reflects the rising influence of Latin America’s tech ecosystem, with the region’s digital economy projected to reach $950 billion by 2026.

A Region on the Rise

GITEX LATAM will spotlight innovation across key sectors including artificial intelligence (AI), healthtech, agritech, cybersecurity, and smart sustainability. The move aims to foster greater collaboration between global technology leaders and Latin America’s growing community of entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers.

Already, the presence of Latin American innovation is being felt at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, where more than 50 Brazilian startups and innovation hubs are showcasing their work, joined by new delegations from Chile and Ecuador.

Strategic Partnerships for Growth

The inaugural GITEX LATAM is being organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and KAOUN International, in partnership with São Paulo’s development agency. The collaboration underscores a shared commitment to accelerating digital transformation, nurturing innovation, and building bridges between the Middle East and Latin America.

A Global Technology Ecosystem

With its expansion into Latin America, GITEX now spans 14 countries and global cities, including events across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. This new chapter positions GITEX as a truly global technology platform, connecting emerging markets and established innovation hubs in a unified ecosystem of collaboration and progress.
