President his Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held conversations today with US President Donald Trump about the strategic partnership between the VAE and the US, as well as ways to serve cooperation in different areas to serve shared interests.
The two leaders have also discussed regional and international issues of mutual problems.
The discussions took place during President Trump’s state visit to the VAE, where he was taken back by his Highness in QASR Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
His highness welcomed the US president and emphasized the importance of this visit in promoting strategic cooperation between the two countries at all levels. He also praised President Trump’s efforts to improve the relations of the UAE-US since he took office, and noted that the two nations share a vision of further progress and prosperity.
The two leaders investigated opportunities to extend cooperation, in particular in the field of investments, energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, industry and other areas that support the determination of the two country to promote a more prosperous future.
They also established regional and international issues of mutual importance, with a focus on counting regional escalation as a threat to safety and stability.
