His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, visited Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) at Dubai International Airport. During the Sheikh Hamdan Emirates Flight Catering visit, he praised the company’s pivotal role in strengthening Dubai’s aviation sector. As one of the world’s largest in-flight catering providers, EKFC produces an average of 250,000 meals daily for outbound flights from Dubai.

Upon arrival, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, welcomed Sheikh Hamdan. The Crown Prince toured EKFC’s advanced production facilities and received a detailed briefing from CEO Shahreyar Nawabi. The presentation covered smart supply chain systems, food preservation technologies, and sustainability-focused initiatives.

Furthermore, Sheikh Nawabi highlighted how EKFC’s operational efficiency supports not only Emirates Airlines but also numerous international carriers flying from Dubai. This alignment, he noted, plays a significant role in reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub.
