Sharjah Football won the AFC Champions League 2 title on Sunday after he had postponed Singapore’s Lion City Sailors 2-1 in an exciting match at Bishan Stadium in Singopore.
Sharjah’s Firas Belarbi opened the score in the 74th minute. Lion City immediately made Maxime in the 91st minute, before Marcus Meloni sealed the victory for Sharjah with a decisive goal in the 97th minute.
This is the first time in the history of the club that Sharjah has won a continental title. It is also the inaugural edition of the newly prepared AFC Champions League 2 tournament.
