Emirates Group has awarded its employees a bonus to 22 weeks of salary, after record -breaking profit for the tax year 2024-2025.
The Emirates Group today released its financial report for the public prosecutor 2024-2025, which reveals new all time in net profit, income, EBITDA (profit for interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization).
This exceptional performance cementts the position of Emirates Group as the most profitable aviation group in the world for the reporting period of 2024-2025. Emirates Airline remembered the best financial results in its history and became the most profitable courier worldwide.
Both Emirates Airline and DNATA achieved record income during the tax year of 2024-2025, while the group continues to expand its global activities in response to the growing demand for its products and services with a high quality.
From the public prosecutor ending on March 31, 2025, Emirates Group reported:
- Profit for taxes of AED 22.7 billion (USD 6.2 billion), an 18% increased from the previous year
- Record the turnover of AED 145.4 billion (USD 39.6 billion), an increase of 6% on an annual basis
- Record-high cash balance of AED 53.4 billion (USD 14.6 billion), increased to 13%
- EBITDA of AED 42.2 billion (USD 11.5 billion), an increase of 6%, as a result of strong operational performance
- Emirates Airline strengthened its status as the profitable courier of the world of the world with:
- Profit for taxes of AED 21.2 billion (USD 5.8 billion), 20% increase
- Record turnover of AED 127.9 billion (USD 34.9 billion), increased by 6%
- High Cash Balance from AED 49.7 billion (USD 13.5 billion), an increase of 16%, an increase of 16%
- DNATA, The Aviation Services Arm of the group, also posted strong performance in his divisions:
- Profit for taxes of AED 1.6 billion (USD 430 million), 2% increased
- Record turnover of AED 21.1 billion (USD 5.8 billion), an increase of 10%
- Strong cash balance of AED 3.7 billion (USD 1 billion)
Moreover, the group announced a dividend distribution of AED 6 billion (USD 1.6 billion) to the owner, the investment company of Dubai.
This tax year was the first time that the new business tax of the VAE – introduced in 2023 – was applied to the Emirates Group. After the 9% tax, the net profit at AED was 20.5 billion (USD 5.6 billion).
