Dubai Media Academy and Google News Initiative Partner to Empower Journalists with Generative AI Tools –

Dubai Media Academy, the training arm of Dubai Media Incorporated, you have launched its new roadshow on generative AI tools, as part of a strategic partnership with the Google News initiative. The initiative marks an important step in detecting media professionals in the VAE with the tools needed to thrive in a rapidly developing digital media environment.

The training is part of a broader program that is designed to improve the application of AI in journalism by offering practical, technology -driven knowledge. The partnership strengthens the shared ambition of both organizations to stimulate media innovation and future leisiness in the region.

The workshop also comes in accordance with the support of Dubai Media for the “Dubai annual plan to speed up the AI ​​adoption”, which aims to integrate intelligence in all sectors. The vision is for Dubai to take the must-driven city economically, the most advanced in AI deployment and the fastest in the hand of the next generation of technologies.

The workshop was held at the headquarters of the Academy and saw strong participation of Dubai Media -employees, together with media professionals and representatives of the media and government communication department. The session was performed by Marwa Khost, Communications and Public Affairs Manager at Google Mena and Pamela Kesrouni, who teaches Felow at Google News Initiative, Mena. The three -hour session included important technical areas such as an introduction to generative AI, prompt engineering and advanced use of tools such as Gemini and NotebookLM. Applications demonstrated include document summary, multi-source content analysis and multimedia generation that support smarter, faster and more creative media production.
