This short article describes how you can add a modified domain to intercom behind the SSL certificate managed by Google. The currently available guide only supports AWS -based solution via Cloudfare CDN, which we can easily replicate to GCP. Because it was not provided by Intercom and decides to create a terrift module for Google Provider.
This guide does not include the CDN functionality, because I do not assume it is not necessary. Documentation and the Terraft module can be found here.
The solution consists of three main components:
- DNS -Input that dissolves to LB’s IP -ADDRES
- Internet Network Endpoint Group This sends the request via HTTPS to Intercom
- HTTPS -Proxy with SSL certificate that requires the request and forwards it to the Backend -Service
ELLY the Haen module has implemented, you will notice the next Balanc Balanco in your loading balance menu:

You can easily navigate to the certificate to check the status and the backend service to see what it refers to. ELV The certificate that you have provided, you must see the following information about the certificate itself:

When entering the host name, in this case help.kubectl.no
You must be forwarded to the help page of the intercom to the valid SSL certificate.
