
Zamalek has issued an official statement that announces the end of his relationship with Ahmed Sayed Zizo after recent developments surrounding the player’s future.
Ahmed Sayed Zizo was excluded from the team for the quarterfinal match of the Coffee Confederation against Stellenbosch in South Africa, in the midst of reports that the player had signed a preliminary contract with the rivals to Ahly.
In the statement, Zamalek confirmed that all negotiations with Zizo reached a dead end, and that the player will not be part of the team beyond the expiration of his current contract. - 1. The club has approached the renewal of the contract of Ahmed Mostafa Mohamed Sayed (Zizo) with the serious and consistently with our financial strategy, one that guarantees the stability of the football team and adheres to the principles of financial principles.
- 2. Despite several scheduled negotiation sessions, the player and his father constantly did not meet, citing little convincing reasons. This demonstrated a clear lack of intention to reach an agreement. As a result, the club has decided that Zizo will no longer be part of the team after its expire contract, since the relationship has reached a point without return.
