Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – May 9, 2025 – Special Olympics VAE organized the inclusive Youth Leadership Forum in collaboration with the New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), in which students from all over the country are brought together under the theme “Hand in Hand” – a celebration of unity, inclusion and community leadership.
The one -day event, held in accordance with the community year of the VAE, to the attention of the youth led projects of 12 uniform championship schools that represent all seven emirates. These schools include the public and private sectors and charter schools, which emphasizes the diversity and reach of the Unified Champion Schools program.
Nyuad played a crucial role in the success of the event, offered support between training, logistics, catering, volunteer coordination and the provision of the location.
The Forum offered students the opportunity to even present Esir to a panel of community experts. These projects have been designed and led by students of determination and their peers, which reflects a shared dedication to even school environments. Students received feedback to help strengthen their projects and to promote their long -term impact within their school communities.

The inclusive Youth Leadership Forum is part of the efforts of Special Olympics VAE to elevate the voice and leadership of students as a cornerstone of recording education. As an important pillar of the Unified Champion Schools program – an international collection model for even school communities – the initiative enables students to lead all the skills, to form culture and inspire action.
