In an initiative to improve public services, MO Salah has completely financed the construction of a new post office to serve its local community.
Located in the governorate of the Basyoun district of Gharbia, Nagrig is the birthplace of the Liverpool striker, which not only has a global sports icon but also a support pillar for its hometown.
Mohamed Salah, together with his family, has tasks about the complete financial response for the development of the project, covering construction costs, furniture and the preparation of the installation for delivery to the Egyptian national postal authority.
The project was launched in response to long -standing problems facing the anterior post office of the village, which had been operating from a rented apartment. The expiration of this lease raised the groups that the office would be relocated outside the village, cutting a vital service for local residents.
Thanks to the efforts and negotiations of the community with the officials, the Post Office could remain within Nagrig. In a generous gesture, the family of the late Radio Ghald, a relative of Salah, donated a plot of 100 square meters for the new installation. Salah’s family entered to finance the entire project.
Local residents have welcomed the development with open arms, expressing a deep appreciation for Salah’s continuous commitment to support his hometown.
The mayor of the city indicated that the previous location was inadequate both in size and structure, which led frequent service interruptions. He praised the new building as a “respectable and fully equipped installation” that will guarantee that postal services are delivered to the village residents.
He added: “This initiative reflects the dedication of Mohamed Salah and his family to the growth of Nagrig and its infrastructure. Everyone here are proud not only of the success of Mohamed’s football, but of its people.”
The new post office is the last of a series of charity projects led by Salah and his family, highlighting their commitment to give back to the community that raised it.
