Pro Panja UAE Cup marks league’s global debut with India-Pakistan ArmWrestling face off

Dubai, April 21, 2025: India’s most important armrush tournament, Pro Panja League, marked an important milestone, since the first international event, Pro Panja Uae Cup, in the lively city of Dubai on April 19 in the India Club.

The event saw sub of the best Armwestlerers in India on large athletes from the VAE, Kuwait and Pakistan. The competitions were sanctified by the Dubai Sports Council and were technically controlled by the Emirates Body Building and Fitness Federation.

Mr Omar Ali of the Ministry of Sport, Mr Faisal Alzabi, head of Emirates Body Bilding and Fitness Federation and Mr. Bharat Chache, CEO of India Club adorned the event as Chief Guets. Also present were the actor and co-founder of the Pro Panja League, Mr. Parvinn Dabass and Bollywood star and president of the People’s Armwrestling Federation India, Mrs. Preeti Jhangiani.

In the first match, Talal Ali van Bahrain enjoyed a dominant 3-0 win over Arjun Menon of India. Then Prasad Kanhangad defeated the VAE countryman Ramboo 3-0. India’s Umesh Kattarambil and Asker Ali defined Ameer Alturckumani van Kuwait and Ali Sehi van de Vae 3-0, respectively.

Finally, in the long-awaited collision between India’s Mazahir Saidu and Uume Awan van Pakistan, the first prevailed 3-0. After the crucial victory, a delighted Mazahir said: “It was a great experience in the inaugural international event of Pro Panja League. This was an important competition for me because I competed for India was really special.”

After he won his match against Arjun Menon, Called Bahraini Armwrestler Talal Ali Kalleed Asker Ali for a match. Talal is the current Bahrain National Champion, triple Arab champion and the GCC champion. Asker Ali accepted his challenge after winning his competition.

After the successful event, Plvinn Dabass stated: “Konn is a Grad -Gastheer and the Pro Panja Uae Cup will be regularly determined on the international armwestling Calegar in the VAE.”

Preeti Jhanghiani spoke on similar lines and said: “This event is proof of the growing popularity of the sport and we can’t wait to bring more of such international events to the fans on the larger scale of Ann Aven. The energy in Dubai was electric and motivates such a reception.”
