
Omar Marmoush continues to charge impulse, taking both the Etihad player from the month and the Nissan Gout of the Month Awards for March.
After joining Eintracht Frankfurt Sky Blues in January, Marmoush has not lost time without having a Pep Guardiola impact. After breaking into the scene with a hat-trick against Newcastle in February, it has been strengthening, quickly becoming fans in Etihad.
In March, Marmoush played a crucial role in the city’s attack configuration by leading the line as a striker and also falling into deeper positions to influence the game. His performances surpassed the competition of Nico O’Reilly and Erling Haaland to win their first prize to the Etihad player of the month.
His outstanding moment of the month arrived the 2-2 Duration City draw with Brighton, when he scored with a sensational 20-yard blow inside the post. The goal won Marmous the Nissan Goal of the Month Award, his second in many months after winning the February award for a Lobbed end against Newcastle.
Marmoush also left his mark in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup. When leaving the bank against Bournemouth, the winner of the game scored, a city on return and sentence of 2-1 in his seventh consecutive semifinal of the FA Cup, where they will face the Nottingham forest.
His double monthly awards places him with people like Josko Gvardioles as one of the only two players in the city to win Nissan’s goal of the month twice this season.
Just two and a half months after his career at Manchester City, Marmoush is already working to be one of the signings of the season.
