Celebrating his 16one Year, the annual digital online underwater photography and film collection The best of the talent of the Underwater photography in multiple images and video categories during an an Ann Awards ceremony in Deep Dive Dubai last week.
Open for EDA members, the competition was launched in 2009 by the Emirates Diving Association (EDA) with a mission to catch the beauty of the underwater world and to reveal it to non-drifts and spray and spokes that are not familiar with the Navy Afgunst. Thanks to the event, EDA wants to develop a deeper relationship between the general public and the oceans of the world to encourage nature conservation practices for this vital vital ecosystem.
Prizes were awarded to the winners by Juma Khalifa bin Thalith, Eda’s Chairman and Celebrated Author, Ali Khalifa bin Thalith, Renowned Photography and Filmmaker and Secretary General of the Hamd Award, Safetal, and Jabera Jabera, and Safetical, and Jabera, and Jabera, and Jabera, and Jabera, and Jabera, and Jabera, and Jabera. Mohamad Abdulla Almusalami, Digital Online’s Resident Judge!
Respond to the prize -giving ceremony of 2025, Ibrahim al Zu’ubi, co-founder of the Emirates Diving Association Said: “A Hage congratulations to all winners tonight. All images and video work that were submitted this year by talented persons from BYSE was fantastic, and I am grateful for the jury members who are heartwarming to see so many ocean enthusiasts that support our mission to reveal the underwater world to reveal the winners.
During the prizes, Cerony were organized in Deep Dui Dubai, the world’s deepest during the swimming pool, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd sheet prizes were presented to winners in seven categories, with more than 13 different nationalities represented in the list of winners, including four Emiratia Nationals.
Deciding On The Winners was by panel of Judges Buying World-Renowned Photographhers, Authors and Refrachers from Across The Gobe, Including The Uae’s Vray Own Mohamed Abdulla Almusalami, Annward-Winnate-Winnate-Winnate-Windinning Rashid Academy of Scientists, Head of Fisheries Management at the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, and a Board Member at the Emirates Zoos and Aquariums Association.
Categories in the competition include macro, wide angle, best of the VAE, black -white, behavior, creative underwater photography and the video category, for which this year’s theme were under water discoveries.
