House of Marste is the Passion project of Marlena Stell. The Pandemie led to the clossing of her Dream Beauty brand, Makeup Geek (which broke my heart), as well as her fashion brand Marste, so Marlena has channeled her passion for creation in Uxury odors that reflect the emotions and moments she experienced in France.

About Makeup Nerd and Fashion brand Marste
I varied sad to see Marsty Fashion close by. It is 6 years ago and I still love and wear the Santiago Ruched Mini Dress as my go-to Little Black dress. Sub of the ways in which I styled the Santiago Ruched dress.

About the offers
The house of Marste perfume bottles are beautiful, heavy glass. They are beautifully indicated to be perfect for gifts, to show on your vanity, or if you are as I am, hidden in the cupboard away from direct sunlight.
I love the nomenclature and inspiration for House of Marste scents. I love the time I spent in Paris and I enjoy seeing what Marlena has inspired.
The Discovery Collection
The Discovery Collection for $ 32 has six odor samples in 2ml size. Recorded scents are: Une Nuit Parisienne, Montmartre Midi, Jardin du Luxembourg, Essence Vanilla, Essence Santal and Essence Mandarin.
Essence perfumes
The Essence Parfums (each $ 92) have three offers rights: Mandarin, Santal and Vanilla. All three are great, even with my own personal body chemistry that does not play well with certain odor notes.
Essence Mandarin
Essence Mandarin has notes of green mandarin, ginger and ambrette. Do you want to make your vibes clearer? Try Mandarin for his clear, sweet nuts. It is a real mood booster for me when it is worn in itself because the sweet nature.
Essence vanilla
Essence vanilla has notes of vanilla, coriander and key lime. I love Key Lime! Vanilla is such a fresh, not -spent sweet turn to add to creamy vanilla.
Saint Essence
Essence Santal has notes of new -caledonic sandalwood, cardamom and musk. I don’t enjoy Musk Musk heavy scents, but I love Santal! The sandalwood, nutmeg and cardamom add special warmth and dept when they are layered with other scents.
Essence Santal is by far my three favorite and it was unexpected that I love it. So I mentioned previous, and don’t like Musks Vray, but the rich warm tones are so cozy. Essence Vanilla is a good second because I love all things vanilla and the added bonus from Key Lime. Essence Mandarin is not a scent that I would have tried alone, so I am very happy that I enjoy it.
If you are new to scents, the essences can be a great place to start, because they are beautiful in themselves or if you put them with the subject differently to create a new scent.
Smell
The House of Marste scents (each $ 168 each) currently has three offers: Jardin du Luxembourg, Montmartre Midi and unites Parisienne.
Jardin du Luxembourg
Jardin du Luxembourg Luxury scent has top notes of green mandarin, rhubarb and basil, middle notes of cancer, white lilac, neroli and clove and basic tones of Virginia Cedar, Ambrette Seed and Musk. On my skin this becomes sharp and green, I don’t get a sweet neroli or clove. I finally feel that I smell medicinal instead of seducing it. I think the combination of cedar and musk is not working well with my personal body chemistry.
Montmartre Midi
Montmartre Midi Luxury Parfum has top notes of grapefruit, cardamom and juniper berries, midnuts of star Jasmine, Peer and Orange Blossom, and based on Atlas Cedarwood, Honey and Musk. This scent is not for my personal body chemistry, because honey is a death look for me, changes scents in baby powder, especially in combination with a musk.
Une nuit parisienne
Une nuit parisienne luxury scent has top notes of hazelnut, chai herbs, jugg, midnuts of black tea, damsroos and benzoin, and base notes of labdanum, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. Like a gourmand odor lover I am obsessed with Unne Nuit Parisienne, the perfect Gourmand! I love hazelnut, chai and black tea mixed with vanilla and sandalwood.
Une Nuit Parisienne is my favorite luxury scent that Marlena has made so far. It is unisex, intoxicating and a must for my collection. It was the first example bottle I had finished from the discovery set.
Ending thoughts
My favorites from every day and tried are the three essence perfumes and unne nuit parisienne. Today I even wear essence mandarin. I love how beautiful the layer of scents with others in my Cocoa Pink and file collection.
The Discovery collection is a great introduction to the Huis van Marste scents because it contains samples of all three scents, as well as all three essences. If you are new in perfume, this is an affordable kit to start with. I am happy that I loved all the essences that Marlena created. And I am obsessed with une Nuit Parisienne, I like how it smells like me!
