Dina Asher-Smith, Georgia Hunter Bell and Laviai Nielsen join Josh Kerr, Matt Hudson-Smith and Zharnel Hughes in Pennsylvania

Grand Slam Track, founded by four-fold Olympic and eight times world champion Michael Johnson, you have announced their full-line for their next meeting in Philadelphia (31 May to 1 June).

It not only contains an abundance of international stars, but nine of the best athletes of Great -Britain – four racers and five challengers – will also adorn the track on Franklin Field.

Zharnel Hughes is a racer in the Heren Short Sprints Group and he again competes against Kenny Bednarek more than 100 meters and 200 meters. Bednarek has picked up maximum points so far (48 – 24 for every meeting) with victories in general in Bingston and Miami. Hughes now became second in Jamaica and third in Florida.

Although Daryll Neita and Dina Asher-Smith Bown in Kingston, they walked in different groups, with Neita part of the short sprints of the Women and Asher-Smith chose the 200m/400m challenge in the long sprints.

In Philadelphia, however, the British sprint duo goes against each other. With Neita who is fourth in the Olympic 100m final and Asher-Smith as the National 100m and 200m record holder, it promises to be a pulsating battle. Both will strive to chase Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, who, like Bednarek, has even picked up a single point.

Matthew Hudson-Smith started Grand Slam Track with a blast with victory in the Long Sprints of the men in Kingston, after following that with a fifth place in Miami in Miami. The Olympic 400m silver medal winner takes on Muzala Samukonga, Steven Gardiner and Miami champion Jerem Richards in Pennsylvania.

The Nielsen -Weeling, Laviai and Lina, make their Grand Slam Track debut and competence in the long sprints of the women and long obstacles respectively. It will be Laviai Nielsen’s second 400m of the season after she clocked 52.02 in the Doha Diamond League and her first 200m since last March in Johannesburg.

With Sydney McLaughlin-Levone who exchanges the long obstacles for the short obstacles, the task of Lina Nielsen is made a little easier, but the British Indoor 600m record holder is still for a quality field, which strands like Shamier small little little bit of small little little little bit of a little bit of Jasmine-Jones.

There is also the seductive prospect that Josh Ker is going against each other against Elliot Giles more than 800m/1500m in the short distance of the gentlemen, who brings back memories of their collision to last year’s British athletics championships.

In the 800m final, Kerr Giles tried to pass straight on, but there was not enough space on the inside of Lane One. The couple cut each other and crashed on the floor in Manchester. With Cole Hocker, Yared Nuguse, Marco Arop, Hobbs Kessler, Josh Hoey and Samuel Champple also in the field, fireworks in Pennsylvania expect.

Georgia Hunter Bell returns for the first time to the US since her victory in De Wanamaker Mile during the Millrose matches of February, with the Olympic 1500m bronze medal winner who wants to replicate success on Grand Slam Track. The Brit competes in the short distance from the women and is confronted with Jess Hull and Nikki Hiltz, to name just a few.

Signed Racers Devon Allen, Masai Russell, Roshawn Clarke, Cyrénna Samba-Mayela, Schuine Sevilla, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Luis Grijalva will miss the Philadelphia Slam due to impsuries. This has added an extra challenger to each of their racing groups. Fred Kerley, who is also a racer, is suspended pending the completion of legal proceedings and will not compete during the meeting.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce the entire field of competitors for the Philadelphia Slam,” said Johnson. “Racing on the Miami Slam was really world class, and we will have even more energy and entertainment for our third SLAM. The spectors in the stands on Franklin Field, and all the fans who look from home, will see the fastest people in the world racing our fighter style to the next level.”
