Dubai: Over 3,500 participate in the 4th annual Dubai Investments Green Run held at in Dubai Investments Park on Sunday.
Building on the momentum of previous editions, Green Run 2025 continued to highlight a growing collective enthusiasm for eco-friendly initiatives. The event featured both a 3km fun walk/jog and a 5km competitive race, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness level
Mohammed Saeed Al Raqbani, Head of the Sustainability Committee at Dubai Investments and General Manager of Dubai Investments Industries and Masharie said, “The Green Run is more than just a race. It’s a movement that brings people together for a shared purpose. As 2025 marks the Year of Community, this event perfectly embodies the spirit of togetherness, encouraging individuals and families to take active steps toward a healthier, more sustainable future. Immersive experience
Participants enjoyed an immersive experience beyond the race, with eco-friendly activities, entertainment, and sustainability-themed giveaways adding to the event’s vibrant atmosphere. In recognition of top performances, cash prizes and trophies were awarded to the leading male, female, and youth finishers in the 5km race.

Participants were also encouraged to support the plastic-free initiative by bringing reusable water bottles, helping to reduce single-use plastics. The event provided t-shirts made from recycled materials, allowing runners to take part in a more sustainable way.
