Molly Caudery leads British entries in the Doha Diamond League

Molly Cauderny opens her summer season in the Wanda Diamond League in Doha on Friday (16 May) when she compiles against Olympic medal winners Katie Moon of the United States and Alysha Newman of Canada, among others.

Caudern, the 2024 world champion, stands for a heavy field in Qatar, which also includes Sandi Morris of the United States.

A few mouths after winning the World Indoor 400m title in Nanjing, Aber Anning is confronted with 2019 world champion Salwa Eid Naser, European indoor Liebe Klaver of the Netherlands and Felow Brit Laviai Nielsen.

Other British in action are Amy Hunt in a ladies 100m that is 100m for women.

Jemma Reekie racet in the 1500m against Kenyans Susan Ejore and Nelly Chepchirchir Plus Adelle Tracey by Jamaica.

Lawrence Okoye is part of a strong line-up of men with Matt Denny-de Australian who went no. 2 on the world list of World All-time with 74.78m in Ramona in April with former World Champions, Daniel Stahl of Sweden and Kristjan Ceh of Slovenia.

Okoye recently improved the British record to 70.76 million, also in Ramona.

Elsewhere, the Olympic 200M champion Letsile Tebogo returns to its number 1 event as faces Aaron Brown from Canada and America Courtney Lindsey and Kyree King Plus the American Sout-African Shaun Maswanganyi.

All eyes will also be on the gentlemen’s high jump, with Olympic high jump champion Hamish Ker while he accepts it to Qatari -star Mutaz Barshim, the joint Olympic Champion 2021.

There is also a top game of top class men with Neeraj Chopra from India opposite Jakub Vadlejch from the Czech Republic, Anderson Peters from Grenada, Keshorn Walcott from Trinidad and Tobagho, Julian Weber of Germany and Julius Yego from Kenya.

The triple leap for ladies, meanwhile, contains Olympic champion Thea Lafond of Dominica and Olympic silver medal winner Shanieka Ricketts from Jamaica, plus worldwide long jumping champion Ivana Spanovic of Serbia, but will miss Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk after the Ukrainian.
