Global real estate tycoon and Emaar Properties founder, Mohamed Alabbar, is offering a remarkable opportunity for content creators with innovative ideas to promote Dubai. Speaking at the 1 Billion Followers Summit, Alabbar made it clear he’s ready to back creative campaigns with significant rewards.

“Create a one-year campaign with incredible content. Talk to me, and I will offer an incredible reward for good ideas. Impress me—I love my city and want to do this for Dubai. Bring me a great idea, and I’ll sign the cheque,” Alabbar said, underscoring his passion for the city.

The comments were made during the summit held at Emirates Towers, the Museum of the Future, and DIFC on January 13. Organised under the theme “Content for Good,” the event brought together 15,000 content creators, 420 speakers, and 125 industry leaders and specialists.

A call to action for content creators

Alabbar also shared ambitious goals for Dubai Mall, revealing it is currently the most visited place on earth with 150 million annual visitors. He aims to boost that number to 200 million through innovative content creation.

In addition to promoting Dubai, Alabbar expressed a keen interest in collaborating with creative minds to tackle the global affordable housing crisis.

“I want someone to create a global campaign for me—something that ignites and unites opinion leaders and technology providers, creating a hub for meaningful discussions and solutions to the global housing shortage. You need to do good for people—but what have you done? I’m challenging each of you,” Alabbar said.
