The UAE National Guard Command has reported that National Ambulance responded to 22,903 emergency cases across the country during the first quarter of 2025 (January-March 2025).

Statistics reveal that 9,372 cases received on-site medical attention, while 13,531 cases were transported to hospitals for further treatment. These efforts indicate the National Ambulance’s commitment to delivering rapid and effective emergency response services.

Operating 24/7, National Ambulance continues to serve the UAE community through the 998 emergency hotline, ensuring swift intervention and reinforcing the efficiency of ambulance services across the UAE.

On October 4 last year, the National Ambulance launched a new group of ambulances, which were added to the fleet, equipped with the latest technologies and ambulance equipment, in accordance with the best international standards.

This group included four-wheel drive first responder vehicles, specially designed to deal with weather fluctuations thanks to their special specifications that facilitate access to flooded areas, with the aim of ensuring the continuity of the service provided to the UAE community, strengthening the national ambulance system and providing emergency services during crises.

During medical emergencies in the UAE, which could either be due to a natural cause or an unfortunate incident like accidents, authorities across the country have set up an efficient process to ensure that patients receive urgent care.
