Fortnite’s iOS App Store Restubmison was refused by AppleSaid Epic Games on Friday, the newest step in a long -term struggle about the payment systems of the application platform of the iPhone Maker.
“Apple has blocked our Fortnite entry, so we can block the release of the American App Store or the Epic Games store for iOS in the European Union,” wrote the official report of Fortnite in a post on social media platform X. “Now, unfortunately, Fortnite will be on the world’s worldwide.”
Apple said later on Friday in a statement that the Fortnite did not remove from alternative distribution market.
“We asked that epic Sweden made up the Appdate again without taking up the American store of the App Store so as not to influence Fortnite in other regions,” the company said.
Last week, Epic Games submitted Fortnite to Apple’s US App Store, a Mounto A after the iPhone maker did not also allow a committee to charge for purchases that consumers do outside of an iOS app.
Fortnite was removed from the App Store in 2020 after Epic Games had updated the software to link a link to the song website to prevent Apple’s committees. Apple charges developers with 30% costs for in-app purchases.
Fortnite has been available on iPhones in Europe since last year through its own digital store of Epic Games. Third parking App Stno is allowed in the European Union under the Digital Markets Act.
On Friday, however, Epic Games said that it was also blocked to distribute Fortnite in his Epic Games store for iOS in the EU.
The most important problem for developers about Apple’s App Store rules is the “control” that the technology giant has, according to Gabriel Le Roux, CEO and co-founder of payment infrastructure, startup.
