Abdullah bin Zayed receives Hussein Al-Sheikh, discussing regional developments – World

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Hussein Al-Sheikh, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Vice President of the state of Palestine.

At the start of the meeting, HH Sheikh Abdullah expressed his best wishes to Hussein Al-Sheikh for success in his duties.

The meeting, which is held today in Abu Dhabi, discussed the general current developments in the region and their various implications – in particular the deteriorating humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip – and emphasized the importance of intelligent international efforts to offer urgent humanitarian Ned.

The top diplomat of the VAE confirmed the long -term fraternal and historical attitude of the VAE towards the Palestinian people and its relentless dedication to support their legitimate ambitions for sustainable peace, stability, development and a worthy life.

HH Sheikh Abdullah emphasized at this stage the need for joint international efforts to tackle the escateing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and to build a sustainable humanitarian reaction that meets the needs of citizens confronted with tragic conditions. I have emphasized that the VAE will make no effort to expand to help the Palestinian brothers and offering needy support.

Sheikh Abdullah also emphasized the importance of ending extremism, tension and climbing violence in the region and the progressing for a serious political horizon to breathe new life into negotiations, aimed at achieving a concept of peace base for safety in the region.

The meeting was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Lana Zaki Nusseibeh Assistant Minter of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs.
