The VAE ranked the 10th world in the 2024/2025 Open Data Inventory report (ODIN), published by the Open Data Watch (ODW), which exceeds important countries such as Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada and the United States.
This marks a new milestone for the country, which strengthens global leadership in accepting digital government concepts and open data.

The ranking of the report is based on 64 indicators that measure the availability of statistical data provided by countries through official open data platforms and assess whether they meet the international standards of openness. The VAE made the first place worldwide in serious indicators, including monetary and bank statistics, food security and food, and the prices and inflation index, where it improved with 45 ranks. In the current edition of the ODIN report, the VAE achieved 92 points in the component of the data opening and 74 points in Data Covenge, with a general score of 84 points.
