The global event, which is held as part of Dubai AI Week 2026, Street ‘AI@70: Towards A Global Humanity’ is designated to initiate and make it possible for a conversation about the philosophical research questions that underlie the age of AI. The event, Timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Dartmouth workshop that AI establishes as a field, will be officially supported by the American Ivy League University Dartmouth College – hosts of the original series of meetings in 1956 in 1956 known as “The Constutional Convention of AI”.
His highness said: “Dubai believes in the power of sharing knowledge, worldwide cooperation and meaningful partnerships to anticipate the future of artificial intelligence and use it to improve lives and promote societies.”
His highness added: “AI is the transforming technology of our time. Brightest spirits from all over the world – to understand the changes that AI will bring and ensure that it is a power for positive, inclusive development. This event will place Dubai in the heart of the worldwide AI conversation, based on our rich philosophical history serving the humanity serving the humanity.”
The event will be the prelude to the establishment of the ‘Humanity Lab’, an incubator that will last eight weeks – the same duration as the original Dartmouth conference. The incubator, organized by the DIFC’s Dubai Ai -Campus, is designed to merge art, philosophy and technology to develop a new category AI products -which reflect the in -depth changes that AI has on humanity.
The meeting of luminaires will prepare a radical research agenda for the world, aimed at the most impactful, future -oriented scientific, philosophical, ethical and social questions about AI. The event will be aimed at matching the technological breakthroughs that take place all over the world with philosophical innovation, creating a new concept of current transformations. It will generate an inventory of possible futures that were impossible in the past. It is an opportunity to set the agenda for a new generation of entrepreneurs and artists while exploring earlier impossible paradigms.
AI@70 is organized by the DIFC in collaboration with the APCO consultancy. The Conference Steering Committee includes representatives of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), advisers of the worldwide consultancy APCO and other experts in the field of artificial intelligence.
