Dubai real estate sector recorded $4.9bn of transactions last week, including $17m Palm Jumeirah apartment

The Dubai real estate sector registered AED17.99 billion ($ 4.9 billion) or transactions last week, according to the land department data.

Sales transactions dominated the figures, with AED13.52bn ($ 3.7 billion), according to the land department data.

In total there were 4,662 sales transactions registered between April 14 and April 18.

Dubai Real Estate this week

Among the most ex -sales transactions that are on the website of the land department were:

  • An apartment in Alba’s residences in the Palm Jumeirah area was sold by AED61.3m ($ 16.7m)
  • An apartment in the Grand Downtown direction in Burj Khalifa was sold by AED51.6m ($ 14.1m)
  • An apartment in Alba’s residences in the Palm Jumeirah area was sold for AED51.6m ($ 14 million)

The land department also showed mortgage agreements worth AED3.66 billion ($ 996.5 million) last week.

Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED805.4M ($ 219.3 million).
