Facelift patients are nowadays looking for results that are of course, subtle and – all inevitable. In the thirty and 40 years, in the thirty and 40 years, fathers are increasingly used to tackle signs of aging before they are pronounced, often after finding non-surgical treatments that find their myming. For the NYC-based facial plasticon, Konstantin Vasyukevich, MD, this shift, fits perfectly with what it describes as the “invisible facelift”-a philosophy aimed at renewing the appearance of a patient without visible signs of operation.

A double board-certified face plastic poor, Vasyukevich is collected for his expertise in in-depth facelifts, to technology that helps to achieve natural, long-term refjation without creating the tension or distortion, often associated with older surgical methods. In this interview with Plastic surgery practiceVasyukevich explains the principles behind his approach, has the evolving demands of a younger demographic patient and offers insight into how plastic plastic arms can continue to refine to refine their techniques to meet expectations.

Plastic surgery practice: You have described your approach as an ‘invisible facelift’. What does that term mean for you, and how does it reflect your goals when performing rejuvenation operation?

Konstantin Vasyukevich, MD: An “invisible facelift” means that the results do not announce themselves as an operation. The patient looks again and realizes again, but is not pulled or alten. My goal is to recover what has been shifted over time, not to change the appearance of Subone. The best results are the U that you notice without knowing exactly why.

PSP: We see a remarkable trend of younger patients – in their last 1930s and 40s – looking for subtle emerging interventions. What do you think this shift floats, and how does it influence your emerging planning?

Vasyukevich: Younger patients are more proactive. They see early changes in photos, video calls or the mirror; And she would rather have tackled than waiting. Many have tried non-surgical treatments, but found the results that underwhelming are or shortly connected, so they turned to surgery for submitting more natural and more sustainable. My approach is less about correction and more about preservation. The procedures are the mention, subtle but effective, with the same goal in mind: long -term, natural -looking improvement.

PSP: The deep facelift that you have revived in recent years. How does this technique match your philosophy to achieve natural, non -detectable results?

Vasyukevich: With the in -depth technology I can look forward to the deep facial structures for more extensive and natural -looking removal. By discussing the surface, we are Uble to restore youthful contours without creating tension or changing an expression. It offers an excellent lifespan and stimulates harmony in the face. If it is done well, it doesn’t look surgical, it just looks like a more renewed version of the patient.

PSP: How do you advise patients who want visible improvement, but worry about the stigma or the fear of looking “ready”? What does patient education play in setting realistic expectations?

Vasyukevich: This is one of the most common worries. I always tell patients: the best facelifts are clear. I show them an example, explain how the operation works and talks through the difference between a natural facelift and one that looks alten. Eleven they understand that good surgery improves their natural characteristics, does not change, they are usually more useful. Education is everything when it comes to expectations and building trust.

PSP: What are the most important elements with which you can retain facial expression and character from a technical point of view while you still have rejuvenation?

Vasyukevich: Instead of sharpening or stricting the tissue, the approach to carefully relaxing and reproduction is. The goal is not to lift as much as possible, it is to restore the tissue to a natural, more youthful position.

Vasyukevich: Patients are reported more and selectively. They are looking for natural, long -leak results and are more open to surgery when it offers a clear solution. I think we will continue to see a shift from transmitted faces and to structural and extensive approaches such as facelifts with deep surfaces, fetent and treatments that improve the skin texture. As Emergeons we have to keep refining our techniques and remain focused on results that feel authentic to the patient. PSP
