Winter Solstice Ceremony Look
I wore Frost -theme Blue Winter Make -up to the winter solstice Cerony Die Dave and I attended in the Lotus Pound with many of our friends and community. If you wipe it right away, you can see video of the eye shadow moving. The winter solstice Cerony at the Lotus Pond was such a beautiful experience. We loved cherishing in the warmth of the community.

I am sad that I didn’t have time to take pictures of my make -up of my winter solstice ceremony look on my DSLR camera. Even with a nice iPhone, it still doesn’t take fresh make -up photos with the forward facing camera.
I changed my lip a little bit for this. I delivered the lip pencil in the middle to make it much lighter and then re -adjust the shine. You can see the change in the video on IG.
I consider this a soft blue and purple makeup look in the winter.
Winter Halo Eye

The best of 2024 make -up
Here are the sum of my choices for the best of 2024 makeup.
Buxom Power Line Lip Liners
The Buxom -Power -Lip Lip -Liners are my favorite lip pencil formula and have been in recent years. The shadow range is unfortunately limited and can certainly use more cool tones. Hush Hush Henna (pink brown that is neutral-warm on me), Magnetic Mauve (a my lips but better color, a cooled pink mauve lilac), powerful plum (vampy plum) and readard ruby (cool-tinted red) are my most used shades. I turn to NYX and half-magic beauty for the other colors that I need in my lip pencils Arsenal, such as blue, purple and black. Does the Liat make my lips? Not that I can see, but the formula remains set for me and gives me beautiful, clear lip lines. I also appreciate the mixing brush on the other side of the pencil for when I try Ann Ombre.
Lys triple fixing and moisturizing skin tone foundation stick
I am so determined for the people who have recommended the Lys Triple Fix Bazing and Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation to me! I love Stok foundations and I prefer daily clothing because sticks are quickly to apply, as if a pressed powder foundation is for me. There has been a hole in my make collection since the make -up of the milk make -up flex stick was stopped. I searched for replacements, but nothing worked well for me to Lys. What surprises me is that it works best with not first underneath! So that is a step that I can skip with Lys. I love this!
The best way to apply pedestrian foundation
I have found the best way to apply sick Fontion for me is not to drag the sick on my face. Instead, I walk a brush over the stick, the buff the product in my skin. I use much less product than if I had applied the stick directly to my skin. I use the Anisa Pinnacle Foundation brush (I won this in a giveaway and would absolutely buy back) to apply Lys, as well as most of my foundations nowadays. Kvd Lock-te Edge Congeler-Bustel #40 is what I use around my eyebrows and eyes to combine my fontage.
What about under the eyes?
I am 46 years old, so the skin under my eyes is delicate and susceptible to creating or cakes like and Don’s not subtly applying the thinnest product layers in that area. I think the Lys Triple Fix Bazte and Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation Stick works best if I don’t apply there. Instead, I apply rare beauty Positive Light under Eye Brighene under my eyes to minimize Crespersing. The eye clearly mixes without problems in the stubborn.
One/SIZE attention seeker 3D Blush Trio
The best blush formula I have found all year round is it one/size 3D Blush Trio in Attention Seeker. The cream -colored formula melts in my skin to give me a beautiful, cool weakened pink blush. The coordinating powder is great for setting the cream. Attention provider Blush has received more compations and questions that have been discussed which blush I am wearing this year. Unfortunately, the entire line Vry leans warm, so Don foresees that I pick up other shades.
The best of the 3D -Blush trio with one/size is that it actually has a clear lid to prevent powder to mix in the cream -colored part. Normally I don’t buy a mix of cream and powder unless the palette offers that function.
One/size on Til ‘Dawn setting Spray
My choice for the best institutional spray of the year is the one/size on TOL ‘DAWN SETTING SPRAY. It works in hot, damp Florida and keeps my makeup in place through yoga. It gives me the feeling that I squirt a can of hair spray on my face. My tip is to take a deep breath and hold it before you spray your face. After spraying your face, use a small fan to dry it quickly.
Although I still use Urban Decay all Nighter Setting Spray, it is only with my eye shadow to help the intracy color. It doesn’t annoy my eyes, so it’s perfect for me to use eye shadow melted or to create Lner with an eye shadow.
See Cosmetics Innocent Lip Gloss
The Ve Cosmetics Innocent Lip Gloss (received in PR) is my favorite shiny shadow and formula of the year, closely followed by half-magical beauty magical drop glitter lip gloss. Innocent wins because it is an enchanting multichrome shine that shifts hues pink, lilac, blue, turquoise and purple. It looks great on every color. It is not -sticky, vray pigmented and wears vry long for a shine.
Half-magic beauty magic drop glitter lipgloss
The half-magic beauty Magical drop glitter lipgloss is a free-close to Ve Cosmetics in formula. It is a different smooth formula with multidimensional sparkle that is not sticky or cacky. It does not migrate around my face on my teeth or chin. I wear Y2K cherub (cool pink with multidimensional sparkle), frosty b*tch (neutral icy peach with multicolored reflects) and problem child (pure black with multicolored sparkle). However, it is a different limited shade range and I would like to see they add a cool-tined red.
Y2K Cherub is great for cool makeup looks. I love frosty b*tch for neutral to warm leaning looks. Problem child is perfect for when I want to wear black.
Black Moon Cat’s Meow Palette
I was the Miauwpalet of the Black Moon Cat in PR, but I bought this for me. I bought the palette to give a friend of mine. You can see my live brush samples here. It is a terrible, unique, cool-toned palette. If you like the matte eye shadow formula and cool tones of Black Moon, you will enjoy the cat’s meow palette.

2024 has been the most challenging year of my life and I am grateful to close the chapter about it. I am ready to see what 2025 will bring.
Dave and I had a ranging low from the holiday season. We have focused on spending Quality Time with our chosen family, friends and yoga community. Quality time with loved ones is what it’s all about for me. What about you?
