After four months alcohol -free, I started my chapter “Superish” at the beginning of March. It started just as lower as it ended – not a dramatic moment, only a calm shift. Since then things are going well: a drink or two a week. Dinner parties now close with one glass of wine, an achievement that I had never thought possible.

What has made this shift feel manageable, is knowing WHY I want a drink when I do that – and otherwise find it exactly what I was looking for. That part surprises me. Because I realized, not drinking is actually easier than just Subtimes Drinking gray areas are squishy. And what I learned in the squish is this: what I want when I go to a drink is usually not alcohol. It’s a time to relax. To relax. Enjoy the lovingly prepared.

Now my favorite non -alcoholic drinks are staples in my house. I reach them more often than wine. Going dry for four months that the desire to drink was almost always a desire to treat myself, to soften the day and to feel a bit held. And it turns out that I can do all of that – without alcohol.

My 8 favorite not -alcoholic drinks at the moment

If you feel like a cocktail, this is the best alternative I have discovered there! I drank earlier through holiday parties and did not miss my beloved Martini as soon as I found them.

Oh, my other beloved drink! I love all the flavors of Ghia, but my favorites are the Sumac & Chile and Lime & Salt.

My Friend-Peder was co-founder of this post-brand and it is a beautiful bottle with which dinner parties or special occasions are worth. The most important ingredient is pine tea (made from local white pine) – it is spicy, fresh and perfect in warm weather.

To really delicious beer. I love the top Dawn Golden and Free Wave Hazy IPA.

I recently tried a sampler package from Minneapolis after traditional beers and would highly recommend it to host at parties. There is a submission for every hone!

This is a solid light and fresh beer that is sold quite a lot everywhere. It’s great with food and on a warm summer day.

I drink this when I long for sparkling water; They are so good! I am not big in sweet drinks, so this earthy, carbonated drink is a real thirst quencher. It also feels spect, and that is really what I am looking for if I want a drink. Subject that feels like a treat, a small break in the day to day.

8. Soda -Water with bitters and lime

This is the drink that I mix for friends and family that are beaten in beer. It is also what I make for me if I want a drink after a long day and a na -beer just doesn’t call me. I usually have the ingredients at hand. Simply fill a glass with ice and soft drink water, add a dashboard or two bitters and squeze in fresh lime juice to taste.
