Summer is here (almost!) And I spent the last coupling of weeks on switching my closet for the new season. What started as a closet cleanout and reorganization Mission Mission Evolution in a though evaluation of everyday that I possess – and which gaps had to be filled. With limited storage space it became clear that the event piece that I bought had to be multi-we, functional and real ten-out-of-ten. Working in fashion, it can also be tempting to consume too much, so I have again tailored my priorities to building a summer capsule wardrobe that BRS Brigs tries on my wardrobe.
After Hage Purge, the jackets and boots have found their way to the back of the cupboard, and I have built a 10-part summer capsule cabinet full of linen, woven and sandals that are central. I think I finally cracked the code to effortlessly chic summer dressing. The secret? Less real is more.

Simple Sundres
For all the minimalists who are there, a firmness can be a summer capsule wardrobe in itself. A Sunday is a one-and-done outfit, is easy to pack on vacation and keeps you cool while you look effortlessly. This summer I am looking for midi-to-full length sindresses that I can combine with sandals, sneakers or heels, depending on where I go. I love the styling of Zomerkroven with a statement belt and a thin knitted draped over my shoulders to add a little department to the look.
Lightweight tops
I grew up in Texas, and one of the most difficult things about summer shopping is finding tops that are enough enough to wear in peak heat. Although I now live in Los Angeles, I still tend to sleeveless fresh, airy button-downs and girlish blouses that don’t leave me in a puddle of sweat.
Brands such as Dôen, Reformation and the large have lightweight and flowing tops that I like to style with denim, linen and silk all summer long. My favorite top in my summer capsule wardrobe is my linen dress from Dissh, because it is cool like a tank top, but feels a little more stylized and chic.
Brezy Soils
Although I still wear jeans all year round, I am looking for my selection of trousers with linen and silk pairs for the summer. I have discovered that also airy alternatives are not only useful and breathable, but radiates the relaxed energy that I am trying to channel this year. (Plus, nothing is worse than tight jeans on a summer sunburn.) Investing in a reliable pair of white linen pants is the best thing you can do for yourself this summer. This is the definition of working smarter, not more difficult – Tise Pants corresponds to the top of the event in your closet.
Non Denim Shorts & Skirts
Although there is nothing wrong with denim shorts and skirts, I personally find it unknown. I know that Miht is a hot take, but I don’t think I have worn my denim shorts in more than a year. Instead, I tend to fluid shorts and skirts that are not too short or too tight. I think the more A-line shape has a shorts or a skirt, the flattering they are on the leg. This year I fill this slot in my summer capsule cabinet with longer, more tailor -made shorts and linen with full length.
Load T -pieces and tanks
Every good wardrobe in the summer capsule starts with one-to-two layering. My requirements for layered T -pieces and tanks are that they are long Covech to put in, not too tight around my arm and his thick Engough not to show my brabeha underneath. Elf you will find a good white or black T -shirt/tank, the outfit options are endless. If you are looking for a waterproof summer outfit formula, you combine one of the first white tanks or T pieces with linen pants, a comfortable sandal, a sweater draped over your shoulders and a raffia bag. White denim
One of my favorite trends in the summer style is a completely white look. I am a fool for white jeans and a white top with a pop-of-color shoe and bag, so finding a reliable pair of white jeans for my summer capsule wardrobe. You can’t go wrong with a piece of white denim, because this is a classic trend that will never get out of fashion. White Denim Overalls are also a great summer purchase to style above a white T -shirt or a bikini on the beach. Bonus points to introduce these pieces in failure and winter – we love winter white!
Summer Sandals
Summer is the season of Sandalen, so say goodbye to your favorite boots and hello against biweekly pedicures! Whether you are leaning to basic fathers sandals or sexy strappy numbers, your choice in sandal must be neutral, handy and durable. It is easy to be gained by trendy shoes, but a real summer capsule wardrobe sandal is timeless and versatile enough to combine with any item on this list. I am looking for sandals that easily slide on and off for beach days and grassy picnics, and lay flat in a suitcase for all my summer adventures.
Seasonal straw bags
Maybe my favorite part of the summer rolls around my woven raffia and straw bags to style to style the entire season. Although this will always be reminiscent of the beach bag of my mother who is growing up, I think it is great that designers have used raffia in more modern, structured designs, so that the look is fired but still gets trendy feeling. Moreover, Straw is a neutral, so it will match and add a seasonal flare to any outfit you make with this summer capsule wardrobe. From the farmers’ market to the beach and on dinner, the bags can really do (and hold).
Protective sun hoods
When I propose a summer hiadness, every look is supplemented with the perfect floppy sun hat. There is just such a lush Adv a big hat and dark sunglasses that take an elementary summer outfit from simple to sexy. It is also functional because it is fashionable and protects your skin during the sunny days that are in the coming days. I am looking for the perfect neutral raffia sun hat to wear on the beach with bikinis, on long walks in active clothing and everywhere in between. If a hat with a full edge is not your style, the classic baseball hat adds a cool-girl-touch to the summer capsule wardrobe while still covering your face.
Everyday sunglasses
I like to consider sunglasses like the cherries on a summer capsule wardrobe: not entirely essential, but a small finish that goes a long way. I went through a phase of buying several trendy, colorful sunglasses, but after I had to pack four pairs of glasses for a three -day journey, I finally said that Engrugh is enough and a well -fitting, neutral couple thought that is part of everything. Sunglasses also tend to be wiped behind the dining table or in the ocean, so don’t feel that you have to spend a good cent on this element of your summer capsule wardrobe. A designer pair of sunglasses is always a nice release, but more Africa pairs deserve just as many compliciments the price tag.
