
Roy Keane has affirmed that if Arsenal had had Mohamed Salah in his ranks, the Gunners would have already won the Premier League.
As it is, Arsenal is looking at the barrel of another second place. With only six trailled games, the Gunners Trail Liverpool for 13 points, leaving little or no space to return. If the classification is maintained, this would mark the third final of the Arsenal consecutive season as runner -up.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is about to lift its title of League 20, a milestone that would see them equal to the record of all Manchester United’s time. His last 2-1 victory over West Ham, which followed the Arsenal 1-1 draw with Brentford, Widend the GAP bet on some of the two teams.
Salah recently signed a new two -year contract with the club, ending months of speculation about his future. The former Manchester United captain added: “I am slippery, he has made the deal because the best players who play in the Premier League, and is a special player and, without a doubt, a good professional. Free.”
Salah’s record since Liverpool joined in 2017 speaks for himself. The No.11 has scored 243 goals in 395 appearances, which makes it the third highest scorer in the history of the club, behind the legends Ian Rush (346) and Roger Hunt (285).
This season, Salah has taken his game to even greater heights. With 27 goals and 18 assists only in the League, he has now established a new record for most goal contributions (45) in a 38 -games premier league season, Sismatic Thierry Henry and Erling Haaland.
