Al Mashy ended his trip in the Caferación Caferación when the port said that the club suffered a 4-1 defeat against Simba in a criminal shooting.

Despite having an advantage of 2-0 of the first stage in Egypt, Massry could not contain a certain Simba team that was balanced in his native land.

The hosts did not waste their time cutting the deficit. The ELIE Mpanzu end opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, followed by a second of the Uganda striker Steven Mukwala at least, eliminating the leadership of Al Masry and leveling the draw in aggregate.

Without goals marked in the second half, the game was forced to sanctions.

In the shooting, Simba maintained its composure. Jean Ahoua, Mukwala, Kibu Denis and Shomari Kapombe turned their kicks into the point. To Massry, on the other hand, he could not deliver under pressure. Mido Gaber and Mahmoud Hamada lost from the place, while Fakhreddine Ben Youssef was the only player to score for the Egyptian side.

The result sees Simba advance to the semifinals, where they will meet Stellenbosch, who knocked out Zamalek earlier at night.

The exit of Al Masry marks a disappointing end for a campaign that was promising, so special after his strong performance in the first leg.
